Nitin Apte is the Chief Executive Officer of Vena Energy, a leading renewable energy company in the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to Vena Energy, Nitin was President and Chief Executive Officer of Materia, a specialty materials company he positioned for rapid growth through strategic partnerships and expansion of the company’s manufacturing footprint.
In the past, Nitin also worked for over 25 years at SABIC and General Electric, in assignments spanning profit-and-loss leadership, marketing, innovation, supply-chain management, Six Sigma, manufacturing, and product management.
Nitin graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, with a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical engineering. He also holds M.S. and MBA degrees from Ohio State University in the United States.
