Local individuals, community groups and organisations can now apply for our 2025 Western Downs Community Sponsorship Program, with applications closing on 30 September 2025.

We’re seeking innovative initiatives that will make a meaningful difference across the Western Downs region. Whether you’re an individual with a transformative idea, a community group ready to take action or an organisation looking to expand your local impact, we encourage you to apply.

The sponsorship program supports projects in three key areas:

Environmental Conservation – Projects focused on protecting and enhancing our natural environment

Community Wellbeing – Initiatives that strengthen social connections and improve quality of life for residents

Infrastructure Development – Practical projects that build community capacity and improve local facilities

This program represents an opportunity to create lasting positive change and build a more sustainable future for Western Downs communities.
